A private two-hour journey through the Coal Pit estate, designed for guests seeking a more intimate and elevated wine experience. Hosted by our Fine Wine Experience Curator, guests will travel by Polaris through our organic Gibbston vineyard, from the Top Block at 500 metres elevation to the vines and bee boxes below. Along the way, enjoy seasonal moments in the vineyard, a glass of Pinot Noir Rosé with sweeping estate views, and Sauvignon Blanc tasted among the vines. The experience finishes in the Coal Pit Living Room with a guided tasting of our Pinot Noir collection overlooking the vineyard, a rare, personal and beautifully grounded way to experience Coal Pit beyond the glass.
What to expect
Guests will be welcomed to the Coal Pit estate for a private, hosted experience that moves gently through the vineyard, winery, and tasting room. Expect a relaxed Polaris journey through the organic Gibbston vineyard, with stops at key points of the estate to take in the views, learn about the site, and enjoy selected wines in the places they are grown. The experience finishes in the Coal Pit Living Room with a guided tasting of our Pinot Noir collection overlooking the vines, personal, unhurried and deeply connected to place.

Cancellation policy
As this is a private, hosted vineyard experience, bookings are limited and prepared especially for each guest. Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the experience will receive a full refund or may be rescheduled, subject to availability. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the experience, or no-shows on the day, are non-refundable. As part of the experience takes place outdoors and in the vineyard, Coal Pit may adjust, reschedule, or move the experience indoors in the case of unsuitable weather or vineyard conditions. If Coal Pit needs to cancel the experience, guests will be offered the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.
