Description
House of Florence was created with gatherings in mind — a family brand built on connection & creativity, and now the legacy of my beautiful Mum, Sandra. Growing up alongside the evolution of the brand, I was always immersed in the creative world my mum built — from helping with wedding floral installations to supporting workshops and being the sounding board her latest ideas. Continuing House of Florence is a meaningful way to carry forward the warmth, creativity, and sense of connection she brought to so many people. Being a Queenstown local, an avid skier, chef & adventurer, I’m excited to bring House of Florence to the place I love most. With a background in hospitality, a love for hosting, and a passion for creating beautiful experiences, I’m the new face of the family brand — bringing people together through thoughtfully curated candle-pouring workshops. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion, visiting Queenstown on holiday, or simply gathering with friends for something different, this workshop offers a relaxed and hands-on introduction to fragrant soy candle making. Suitable for both beginners and enthusiasts, guests create and take home two beautifully scented candles, along with the inspiration and skills to continue making at home. Choose from an in-house experience, a workshop at your chosen venue, or host your gathering at House of Florence itself — you host or I host, the choice is yours. I provide everything needed to create an unforgettable experience centred around creativity, connection, and celebrating the moments that matter most. I look forward to creating with you soon, Kate Florence
